Defence Dolphins have their own way of communicating. It take a little more than a "Hey my name is..." to get accepted into a dolphin group. Dolphins are very protective of their pod and territory. If a dolphin is not accepted into a group it can be bad. Tail slapping to any animal is saying "Back off" or "Get- away". A dolphin's nose is pointed so, if a loan shark comes near then the dolphins can drive their nose into the shark's gills. Making an S shape with their body means "Watch out". most animals listen after this but if they don't than the physical attack comes into play.
